About the Workplace

Sofieholms Preschool is located in the Lindeborg/Hyllie area, a 15-minute walk from Hyllie station, and together with Högaholms, Hermodsdalsparken, Idun's, and Lillsjön's preschools, we form a principal area. The preschool currently has five departments, one of which is a bicycle department. There is a large lush yard with plenty of space for movement and play at the preschool.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher with us, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational preschool. You lead and develop the educational activities together with the rest of the team. You have a special responsibility for teaching and work with the curriculum as a basis based on each child's knowledge, experiences, and specific conditions. All preschool teachers in Malmö have scheduled time (5 hours/week) for reflection, documentation, and learning with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher license. We would like you to contribute with engagement, creativity, and a drive to develop the operations. You meet each child with respect and attentiveness. Of course, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with guardians and colleagues. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We are looking for a playful, collaborative, and curious preschool teacher who has an interest in working project-based with pedagogical documentation as a tool.

It is important that you, as a preschool teacher, have a professional approach to children, guardians, and colleagues and appreciate collegial learning. In addition, we hope you contribute with creativity, reflection, and a positive spirit.

To be permanently employed as a preschool teacher, a preschool teacher license is required, according to the Education Act.
